It is often said you only get one chance at a first impression - and most of that impression has nothing to do with what you say, but the way you say it. Yet it is amazing how often organisations disregard these basic facts and needlessly disadvantage themselves by sending out the wrong subliminal messages in the content and style of their presentations. Take a look at your corporate presentation. What is the first thing it says? The chances are it starts off with a 'look how great we are' statement rather than anything that might interest a prospective client - like what you can do for them. Presentations are all about winning people around - but, all too often, companies leave the 'winning around' bit till the end of their pitch (by which time they have usually run out of time). To prevent this - and other problems - I can help create or review your marketing collateral, from PowerPoint presentations to business plans, so that it reassures your audience that your organisation is the one they should be doing business with. This service can be extended to incorporate the wider messages your company sends out, as part of a marketing or communications consultancy project. I have advised companies ranging from internet start-ups to international banks. If you would like me to help you, too, just email or phone me now.
